First Expert Group Workshop on Climate Change
The E15 Expert Group on Measures to Address Climate Change and the Trade System met for the first time on 30 June to 1 July 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland to set the context for future workshops and the output of the group. The following topics at the intersection of climate change and trade were discussed in depth: enforcement, compliance, and participation in climate governance; competitiveness and carbon leakage; international transport and its effect on emissions; and establishment and governance in international trade and climate regimes.
