Experts broke into groups to examine the following four sub-topics: industrial policies, evolving conditions and objectives, and suitability of specific policies; efficient industrial policies and improving effectiveness; the extent to which the WTO legal regime and provisions impost major constraints on new industrial policies; and the relevance of ongoing negotiations in the WTO and Bilateral/Plurilateral initiatives.
