Current research areas focus on merger control, exclusionary abuses and the coordination of enforcement across jurisdictions. Former: Chief Competition economist, European Commission Directorate General for Competition. Has written numerous books and articles on competition economic and the economics of industry. PhD in Economics, Nuffield College, Oxford.
