Specializes in international economic law, in particular the law of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Foreign Investment Law. Advises governments and non-state actors in WTO dispute settlement and investor-state arbitration. Former: Senior Advisor, King & Spalding LLC; Co-founder, TradeLab.org; Visiting Professor, Stanford Law School and Harvard Law School; Tenured professor, Duke Law School; Legal officer, WTO. Appointed on the roster of WTO panelists and as arbitrator under Free Trade Agreements.
