Researches production economics, farmers’ livelihoods, policy and rural development, food supply and demand, price and resource allocation. Former: Project Leader or Co-Principal Investigator in a number of research projects funded by the WorldFish Center, Asia Development Bank, the Stanford University, and the Ministry of Agriculture of China; Fisheries and Aquaculture Specialist, Asia Development Bank Project: Sanjiang Plains Wetland Protection.
