Researches socio-economic drivers of marine ecosystem change and leads internationally funded research examining how to best use scientific evidence to impact management and policy. Works to influence global society’s behaviour to create sustainable management, particularly in relation to coral reefs, fisheries, conservation, aquaculture and Marine Protected Area science.
