Second Expert Group Workshop on the Digital Economy
The E15 Expert Group on The Digital Economy met for the second time on 30 and 31 July 2015 in New York, United States. The workshop was led by Theme Leader Merit E. Janow, Dean of the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Various group members presented their think pieces on various topics at the intersection of the digital economy and global trade. Experts also began to identify opportunities that the growth of the digital economy creates for trade and development and put forward policy options that strengthen trade, investment, and sustainable development.
