Expert Group and Task Force Workshops

Third Task Force Workshop on Regulatory Coherence

14 July 2015 , videoconference

The E15 Task Force on Regulatory Systems Coherence met virtually in a videoconference for the third time on 14 July. Group discussions, led by Theme Leader Petros Mavroidis of Columbia Law School, focused on developing and refining policy options that can strengthen international regulatory frameworks and the global trade and investment systems for the next decade. In prior meetings, the group examined problems posed by differences in regulation and regulatory regimes across markets and worked to develop alternative approaches that could be taken by governments and the business community to reduce the regulatory barriers to trade. The group is made of distinguished experts from academia, international governmental organisations, and business from four continents.

Attendance at this event was by invitation only.
