World Economic Forum Summit on the Global Agenda 2015

27 October 2015 , Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Various E15 experts participated in the World Economic Forum Summit on the Global Agenda 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, including in a private session on International Trade and Investment on 27 October 2015. The session, which was moderated by E15Initiative Principal Convener and ICTSD Chief Executive Ricardo Meléndez-Ortiz, involved a group discussion aiming to narrow down the E15 policy recommendations into a coherent set favourable to a range of stakeholders and to set the scope for the E15Initiative in 2016.

Each of the 18 E15 expert groups and task forces has been tasked with developing a set of policy options that strengthen the global trade and investment system for sustainable development. A consolidated, coherent set of options will be delivered to global audiences at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2016.
