Former: Environmental and energy lawyer; Policy, law, investment, and philanthropy experience with Google, the World Bank, Baker & McKenzie, and U.S. Department of Energy. Has advised global initiatives including the Global Ocean Commission, the UN Secretary-General’s High-level Group on Sustainable Energy For All, and the World Climate Summit. Negotiated the first U.S. bilateral climate accord (with Costa Rica) and wrote the first university endowment investment policy on climate change (Stanford University, 1999).
