Anna Joubin-Bret
Principal, Joubin-Bret Cabinet d’Avocats. Practices international arbitration in disputes involving sovereign States and State entities and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and conciliation, of investor-State disputes. Counsels governments on international investment policies, international investment treaties, contracts, investment law, and dispute prevention policies. Former: Senior Legal Advisor for the Division on Investment, Technology and Enterprise Development, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Has edited and authored seminal research and publications on international investment law, notably the UNCTAD Series on Issues in International Investment Agreements and contributed to UNCTAD’s research on key issues of investment promotion, protection and liberalization, including the World Investment Report, Investment Guides and Investment Policy Reviews.
