PhD in Economics, Harvard University. Manager of Integration and Trade, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Expertise in trade policy, economic integration and regional cooperation policies in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Europe. Former: Instructor, University of Barcelona and Harvard University. Has published widely in major journals such as American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Review of International Economics, Review of World Economics and World Economy and has co-authored and edited several books.
