Cristian Rodriguez Chiffelle
Cristián Rodríguez Chiffelle is Head of Trade and Investment Policy and a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Geneva. In this capacity, he leads a policy team working globally on issues such as international investment, digital trade, global value chains and trade and the environment. He is a member of the Business 20 (B20) Task Force on Trade and Investment, and former Economic Advisor to the Mission of Chile before the OECD in Paris. Prior to joining WEF, Cristián served as a trade diplomat/negotiator in various positions for the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including as legal advisor on services and investment, and as head of energy, trade and sustainable development and lead negotiator on the issue at the Trans-Pacific Partnership deal.
Cristián holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Harvard Law School, a Master in Public Administration (MPA) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government – where he was a Mason Fellow in Public Policy and Management – and an LL.B from the University of Concepción, Chile. He is also an officer (2nd Lt, Rv.) with the Chilean Air Force.
