Former: Deputy Chief Economist, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT); Contributing editor, DFAIT’s Trade Policy Research series; Deputy to the Chair, APEC Economic Committee; Finance Counsellor, Canada’s Embassy in Germany; Chief of Financial Institutions and Project Director of Financial Institutions Reform, Canada’s Finance Department. Appointed to review Canada’s support for business and commercially-oriented research and development, and a forthcoming review of East Africa’s manufacturing policy for the African Development Bank.
