Senior Fellow, ICTSD. Former: Permanent Representative of Zambia to the WTO; Chairman of the Standing Committee on Copyrights, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO); Chairman, International Trade Centre (ITC) Joint Advisory Group. Has served in various capacities in the WTO including as Chairman of the Balance of Payment Committee, Chairman TRIPS Special Session as well as Coordinator of the LDC group. Instrumental in advancing the negotiating text of the services waiver as coordinator of the WTO LDC group.
