Professor at the Faculty of Law, Addis Ababa University. Former: DAAD Visiting Professor, Martin-Luther University in Germany; Dean of the Faculty of Law, Addis Ababa University; Member, National Technical Committee for Ethiopia’s WTO Accession. Advises the government, the private sector and intergovernmental organizations. Has published books and articles on different subjects including WTO/TRIPS related issues particularly from the perspective of developing countries.
