Researches international climate change law and policy, including the use of market-based mechanisms, climate-trade policy interactions, reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD), European climate policy, and clean technology agreements. Former: Marie Curie fellow, Environmental Change Institute at Oxford; Researcher, Institute for Environmental Studies at VU University Amsterdam; Visiting Associate, Department of Value and Decision Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology; Visiting Research Scholar, Dean Rusk Center at University of Georgia School of Law. Has published numerous book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals.
