Harsha V. Singh
PhD in Economics, University of Oxford (Rhodes Scholar). Knowledge Manager of the E15Initiative; Executive Director, Brookings India; Senior Fellow, International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD); Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. Over three decades of experience working on policies relating to international trade, development, infrastructure regulation and global governance. Former: Deputy Director-General, World Trade Organization; Director General’s Cabinet, GATT/WTO; Economic advisor then Secretary, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. Has been chair/member of high level policy committees, chair of WTO dispute settlement panels, and a visiting faculty member at research institutes on international trade, sustainable development and regulation.
