Director (Senior Partner), McKinsey Global Institute, McKinsey and Company; Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution; Member, Council on Foreign Relations and Bretton Woods Committee. Has led research on business and global economic trends, including the digital economy, globalization, growth and productivity. One of the leaders of McKinsey’s Tech, Media and Telecom Practice. Appointed by President Obama to the President’s Global Development Council as its Vice Chairman. Other boards include: Innovation Advisory Board of the US Dept of Commerce, the Aspen Institute, Oxford Internet Institute, UC Berkeley’s School of Information, Harvard’s Hutchins Center.
