Programme Manager for Agriculture, International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD). Researches farmers’ livelihoods and food security, subsidy reform, developing country exports and climate change. Former: Representative to the World Bank and IMF, Oxfam International; Head of Global Campaign on aid, debt and the Millennium Development Goals, Oxfam International; Trade, development and human rights officer, Quaker United Nations Office. Has written on various trade and public policy issues, including on development financing, intellectual property rules, and food, agriculture and biodiversity.
