Former: Head of the Africa Bureau, International Trade Centre (ITC); Egyptian Trade Negotiator-in-Chief for the WTO and UNCTAD; Special Assistant, Egyptian Minister of Investment and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation; Egyptian Ministry of Economy & Foreign Trade; Head, Egyptian Departments of EU and West Europe, Eastern Europe, Arab States and Africa Division. Represented Egypt’s trade interests in various negotiations, including Egypt’s FTAs with the EFTA and MERCOSUR, as well as the EPA with the EU.
