Former: Head of the Commodities Branch, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (where he worked for 25 years); Professor of International Relations and Economics, Galatasaray University, Istanbul; Adjunct Professor, Koç University. Founding member, SenDeGel. PhD in Economics, University of California, Berkeley. Current research focuses on the governance of globalization, international trade and the process of development in a globalized world; multilateral and regional trade agreements; Least Developed Countries; South-South economic relations and development cooperation; international value chains; natural resource management.
