Author of three books on Indian industry: ‘The Big Leap: How Indian Companies Leveraged Reforms for Success’ (HarperCollins India, 2013); ‘India Unlimited: A Corporate Journey’ (Penguin India, 2010); ‘Building India with Partnership: The Story of CII 1895-2005’ (Penguin India, 2006). Has contributed numerous book reviews and articles for Indian newspapers and publications. Has been associated with Indian industry for over ten years, working extensively on economic policy issues. Main areas of work include macroeconomic management, industrial policy, manufacturing and competitiveness, and India’s international economic engagement.
